this weekend was pretty much incredible. it’s kinda hard to sit here and watch youtube videos from the tegan & sara concert at bogart’s in cincinnati (5/9/08), and believe that it actually happened. it’s hard to sum up the show with any limited amount of descriptors so bullet points have been chosen to assist in the weekend recap.
- lines started forming at 8am
- mimosas for breakfast
- i spot sara walking towards us – she hangs out with the fans in front of the venue!!!
- mindy made cue cards for tegan (and tells sara about the plan)
- FRONT ROW!!! in front of SARA!!!
- “clap over head” sign
- tegan tries to text a fan’s dad with their cell phone
- sara takes the cue cards from mindy and holds them up for tegan during “i know…”
- the security guard was totally diggin’ the show. sara thanked him for his enthusiasm at the end!

simply amazing! the show couldn’t have been any better. i wish this was the show tegan and sara recorded for the new dvd!
